have discovered this annual 'trash fashion' show in newzealand, so cool! basically just that- fashion made out of recycled.....trash! The show challenged professional and amateur designers and artists to craft fashion designs from a minimum of 90% reclaimed materials. Ball gowns, wedding dresses, warrior wear, and futuristic accoutrement were made with everything from carpet padding and vinyl flooring to erosion control netting and hollow core doors! be inspired! these are some of my faves....
